Farmhouse Extension

Period farmhouse extension and new access driveway

When you want to extend a beautiful period farmhouse partly dated from 1694 you don't want your project to be part of someone's learning curve!

As a quality builder with the requisite skill and experience to create a new extension which looks like it has been there for years Tony Land was selected for this prestigious project.

Pitch pine floorboards machined from old beams which had been recovered from a demolition gave an aged and period look to the new room. The new room opened up a view to the beautiful tended gardens. As the extension stood on the old driveway a new cobbled and walled driveway was a key part of the project.

A building plaque previously excavated from the grounds of the old farmhouse takes pride of place above a newly built inglenook fireplace.

From start to finish Tony and his team formed a great working relationship with the owner and Tony's next project is not surprisingly just a few houses away. Professionalism, reliability, skills, creating great working relationships have ensured Tony Land and the team at Land Builders have been kept fully occupied on quality projects throughout the credit crash and recession.

Land Builders are the builders of choice for your conservation, area, listed buildings projects.
